Situated by the picturesque Shenzhen Bay is Splendid China, a window for a glimpse of China's 5,000 years of history and cultures. It incorporates scenery reproduces of more than a hundred scenic wonders in 70 famous places arrayed in their geographical order. Miniatures like the Great Wall, the Three Gorges of Yangtze River, the Tomb of  Genghis Khan, the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace, Seven -Star Crags, the splendid edifice of Potala  Palace located at the highest land above sea level, and many more of famous Buddha Statues, pagodas, shrines, grottoes, and scenery can be seen within a day. You will also have a comprehensive experience with the traditional dishes, antiques and handicrafts of different nationalities.

China Folk Culture Villages ( DS 110 )

China Folk Culture Villages, adjoining Splendid China, Reflects from different angles the traditional cultures and customs, architecture and scenic spots of various tribes and nationalities in China. Life-sized villages representing typical ethnic architectural styles of 21 selected nationalities have been built in it. Folks songs and dancing of different ethnics are performed by professional artists. You will also find undulating hills, roaring waterfalls, winding streams, towering age-old banyans from Xishuangbanna, Lamasery, cliff paintings and Thousand-handed thousand-eyed Guanyin etc., while venturing into the China Folk Culture Villages.

Window of the World ( DS 121 )

See the world's wonders in an at-a-glance visit. Window of the World covers an area of 480,000 square metre adjoining Splendid China Miniature Scenic Spot and China Folk Culture Villages. It is another new large tourist centre established in Shenzhen with much appeal to visitors.

You will be amazed by a total of 118 scenic spots offered in the Window of the World. The centre is divided into 9 areas where a lot of the world's wonders are displayed in accordance with their georgraphical positions. Amongst them are the Great Canyon, Mount Rushmoore National Memorial; the Niagara Falls, the Sphinx and  Pyramids;  Acropolis of Athens, the Leaning Tower of Pisa; the Wall & Clock Towers of Kremlin; La Tour Eiffel; and the Indian Taj Mahal. All these replicas are made on a scale of 1:1, 1:5 and 1:1.5  respectively, an exquisite beyond compare.
