Taiwan Visa Information

　
I. Warning :
Visitors must hold onward / return ticket, proof of sufficient funds 
to cover the duration of their stay in Taiwan. Non-compliance with  
the immigration  regulations will result in a fine. Non-compliance
will result in deportation of passengers at carrier's expense.

II.

 Visa required, except for 
1. nationals of Taiwan;
2. Taiwanese re-entry permit;
3. nationals of the following countries :
for a stay not exceeding 14 days; (Visa extension is not permitted.)
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czech. Rep., Canada, France, Italy, 
Germany, Hungary, Japan, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Netherlands
Poland, Switzerland, United Kingdom, U.S.A.

III.

 Transit Without Visa 
Visitors are holding ticket with confirmed seats and other document

for their onward journey and continuing their journey to a third 
country in the same airport within 8 hours.

IV.

 Health
No vaccinations are required to enter Taiwan from any country.

 Taiwan visa application information for Hong Kong travel document
(HKBNO, HKSAR & HKCI)
For Leisure purpose :
1. First application
a. Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card original
b. 3 piece photos within 3 months,
c. application form with personal information,
d. 3 - 4 weeks. 
2. Next application 
a. Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card copy
with passed Taiwan visa
b. 3 piece photos within 3 months,

 1 - 2 weeks.
For business purpose :
1. First application
a. Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card original
b. 3 piece photos within 3 months,
c. application form with personal information,
d. company guarantee letter with Taiwanese 
contact information & bank endorsement.
e. interview with applicant,
f. additional pay visa express fee about HK$75,
2. Next application
a. Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card copy
with passed Taiwan visa
b. 3 piece photos within 3 months ,
c. application form with personal information,
d. company guarantee letter with Taiwanese contact information & bank
bank endorsement.

VI.

 Taiwan visa application information for other foreigners :
a. Original passport at least 6 months validity,
b. 2 piece photos within 3 months,
c. application form with personal information,
d. return air ticket original & copy, 
e. Hong Kong Identity Card original & copy, 
f. 2 working days,
g. apply single entry visa only.  

VII.

 Visa type
1. Single entry visa;  
visa is valid for 6 months, max stay 3 months
2. Multi-entry visa book;
visa is valid for 3 years, max stay 3 months but stamp new visa each
time.  Working day is 2 days.
