Philippines Visa Information

 

I. Warning :
Non-compliance with the visa requirements will result in a PHP5,000.- fine and 
transportation at delivering carrier's expense to the country of origin.
II. Visa is required, except for :
1. Nationals of Philippines ;
a. Residing in the Philippines ;
b. Residing outside the Philippines for at least 1 year and coming to the Philippines for a stay
of max. 1 year ;
c. Being overseas workers provided holding together with their passport one of the following
documents :
- Approved contract of employment (with English translation) ;
- Certificate of employment by the Philippine Embassy / Consulate ;
- Prior  year's income tax return to prove gainful employment abroad ;
- Contract worker stamp on passport ;
- Seaman's Service Record Book.
Visa exemption is for a stay of max. 1 year ;
2. Holders of diplomatic or service passports provided being nationals of :
Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, 
Korea South, Malaysia, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia,
and Venezuela, for an unlimited stay ;
3. Those employed / active in the legitimate dissemination of mass information (journalists,
radio producers etc.) for a maximum stay of 59 days. Extension of stay possible. 
Their occupation should be indicated in their passport.
4. Those holding normal passports and entering as tourists or for a business visit who are a  
nationals of :
a. Brazil, Iceland, Israel, Mexico, Pakistan, Romania, Sri Lanka and Yugoslavia for 59 days;
b. Passengers of Chinese origin holding a British passport issued in Hong Kong for max. stay 
14 days. - Hong Kong BNO passport holders. 
c. Chinese, who is holding Hong Kong SAR passport, allow for max stay 14 days.  
d. Other nationals are allowed for stay 21 days, e.g. Canada, USA, & United Kingdom etc...   
But nationals of Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Mongolian People's Rep., & Poland
for max stay 21 days, no extension.
5. Nationals of any country (including their spouse and children) who were former nationals 
of the Philippines provided holding together with their passport one of the following 
documents :
- Old Philippine passport ;
- Foreign naturalization papers to show former Philippine citizenship;
- Certification from adopted country ;
Their spouse should hold a passport and a marriage certificate. Their children should hold 
a passport and a birth certificate or, in case of adopted children, a passport and adoption 
papers. Visa exemption is for a stay of max. 1 year ;
6. Re-entry permit.
III. Transit Without Visa :
Those continuing to a third country within 72 hours provided holding tickets with 
confirmed seats and other documents for their onward journey. Leaving airport is
allowed.
IV. Health :
No vaccinations are required to enter Philippines.
V. Visa application for Hong Kong Certificate of Identity (HKCI) : 
1. original travel document with at least 6 months validity;
2. application form with personal information;
3. 3 piece of photos within 3 months;
4. 3 working days;
5. air ticket is required if urgent visa.
