Malaysia Visa Information

 

I. Warning
Passengers arriving without visa (if required) may be subjected to deportation
to their country of origin for account of transporting carrier.
II. Visa is required, except for :
a. nationals of Malaysia ;
b. holders of British passports in which their nationals status is described as "British 
Protected Person" ;
c. British subjects being "Citizen of the United Kingdom and colonies";
d. Nationals of :
Austria, Barbados, Belgium, Botswana, Canada,  Cyprus, Czechoslovakia, 
Denmark, Dominica, Fiji, Finland, France, Gambia, Germany, Guyana,  Hong Kong
SAR passport holders; Hong Kong BNO passport holders; Ireland Rep., Iceland,
Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Kiribati, Korea South, Lesotho, Luxembourg, 
Liechtenstein, Malawi, Malta, Mauritius, Nauru, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway,
Papua New Guinea, Samoa (Western), San Marino.
e. in the form of an endorsement stamp in passport reading "No objection to return".
This stamp is not a substitute for the required re-entry permit;
III. Travel without visa 
Those continuing to a third country beyond India and holding confirmed onward 
tickets (tickets showing India as turnaround country are not allowed); and all 
documents are required for their next destination; and sufficient funds are provided.
being in direct transit and continuing within 24 hours for nationals of Sri Lanka;
continuing within 72 hours for other nationals.
IV. Health:
Required-except for passengers transiting India by the same aircraft-vaccination
against:
Yellow fever, if arriving within 6 days after leaving or transiting infected areas or
endemic areas (see General Health Information) or Trinidad & Tobago. Exempt are
children under 6 months.
V. Visa application for Hong Kong Certificate Identity (HKCI)
1. original HKCI with at least 6 months validity;
2. application form with personal information;
3. 3 piece of photos within 3 months;
4. HK I/D Card copy;
5. 4 working days.
